25 years of my life is still...
Trying to get up that great big hill of hope...
For a destination.
I realized quickly when I knew I should
That the world was made up of this brotherhood
Of man. For whatever that means.
And so I cry sometimes when I'm lying in bed
Just to get it all out what's in my head
And I am feeling a little peculiar
And so I wake in the morning and I step outside
And I take a deep breath and I get real high
And I scream at the top of my lungs
What's going on?

I said hey, what's going on?

And I try, oh my god do I try
I try all the time, in this institution
And I pray, oh my god do I pray
I pray every single day
For a revolution

Siiigh... 25 years... what a journey... and even though I haven't reached there yet... that hill of hope is a wonderful, perennial destination. I still remember the time when I'd written that I want to stay 24 for the next 5 years. And that was a little more than a year ago. And now, in less than an hour, I'll cross into the other side of 25.
Time flies... And how... And it continues to fly... and well... so do I. I wonder how this year will turn out to be. Here's wishing me a good one... And here's wishing everyone else that they are around wishing me a good year all my life...
